Founded in 2025, The ELEVATE Podcast was created to connect listeners with local wellness experts and encourage thoughtful stewardship of health, business, and community. Meet The Team

Rachel Godwin

Founder & ELEVATE Podcast co-host

Rachel is the founder of ELEVATE, bringing together her background in marketing for a wellness-based company, her earlier career in Physical Therapy with Conway Medical Center and Tidelands Health, and her credentials as a certified health and life coach. Throughout her career, Rachel has had a natural ability to recognize needs and create solutions — from launching an employee wellness program at the local Solid Waste Authority to developing a bridge program at Conway Medical Center that coordinated interdisciplinary teams to better serve patients after physical rehabilitation. Passionate about wellness, she is dedicated to inspiring her community to make healthy living simple, accessible, and sustainable. With a growing Grand Strand community Rachel has identified the opportunity to support wellness businesses by helping them strengthen their marketing and elevate their brand awareness. Whether through meaningful conversations, sharing resources, or spotlighting local leaders, Rachel strives to show that wellness doesn’t have to be complicated — it can be woven into everyday life in ways that uplift the entire Grand Strand community.

Nicole Huckabee

ELEVATE Podcast Co-host

Nicole brings nearly 35 years of experience in local television news, where she told the stories that mattered most. Now, she’s carrying that same passion for storytelling into ELEVATE’s conversations. After retiring from the evening anchor desk at WBTW in Myrtle Beach in 2020, Nicole looked back on a career that gave her countless memorable moments—from interviewing icons like Gloria Gaynor, Darius Rucker, the Harlem Globetrotters, NASCAR drivers, daytime drama stars, and pro golfer Dustin Johnson, to traveling to Hollywood for a behind-the-scenes series on CBS Daytime soaps. (She even appeared as an extra on The Young and the Restless!) Her work also extended to appearances on Investigation Discovery’s Unusual Suspects and Nancy Grace’s podcast. Nicole’s talent and dedication have been recognized with numerous awards, including one of the most prestigious honors from the South Carolina Broadcasters Association—the Masters Award, which celebrates broadcasters who make a lasting impact on their communities while upholding the highest standards. In addition to co-hosting ELEVATE, Nicole produces and hosts The Conversations with Nicole Show, a platform for more personal, intimate storytelling. She’s also pursuing her passion for acting, appearing in films like Break the Cycle, God’s Not Dead 5, and Like & Subscribe, as well as leading roles in commercials and digital campaigns. In 2025, her drive took her to the International Model and Talent Agency competition in New York City, where she walked away with seven awards and a talent agent in Los Angeles. But beyond the accolades, what truly defines Nicole is her love for people—their stories, their journeys, and their dreams. That’s why she’s proud to be part of ELEVATE: to connect the Grand Strand with local wellness experts, inspire healthier lifestyles, and help the community shine a little brighter

Jessica Shrader brings both strategic expertise and creative flair to our team. With a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, she is instrumental in ensuring our campaigns are carried out with precision—ensuring that every initiative is executed seamlessly and effectively reaches our audience. In addition to marketing, Jessica serves as our podcast editor, applying her keen ear for detail to guarantee that each episode is polished, professional, and engaging for listeners.

Outside of her professional role, Jessica is an accomplished artist, specializing in watercolor painting. Her artwork reflects the same creativity, discipline, and eye for detail that she brings to her marketing and editing work, making her a truly well-rounded member of our team.
