Our Story

ELEVATE + COMPANY WELLNESS, LLC was founded on the belief that wellness is strengthened through connection — connection between trusted wellness leaders, meaningful stories, and the people seeking support along their journey.

We believe our community deserves a trusted place to discover the people, practices, and conversations shaping wellness across the Grand Strand.

We also understand that many wellness practitioners are balancing meaningful work with the constant pressure to create content, maintain visibility, and communicate the value of what they do.

Their stories deserve to be shared with the same care, depth, and intention they bring to the people they serve.

Through thoughtful storytelling, creative media, and intentional brand support, we help wellness businesses bring their mission to life while creating stronger connections with the community around them.

Through the ELEVATE WELLNESS Podcast, our Coffee Klatch community, and the ELEVATE Wellness Studio, we are building  the Grand Strand's trusted wellness resource where local leaders can be discovered, conversations can continue, and people can feel supported in living well.

Meet The Team

Rachel Godwin

Founder of ELEVATE + COMPANY WELLNESS

Her background spans clinical care settings, wellness marketing, and health coaching, giving her a grounded understanding of both the structure of healthcare and the very human challenge of explaining it outside of it.

That blend is what shaped her approach: translating complex, meaningful work into messaging people can understand, trust, and act on.

Over time, she kept noticing the same pattern — incredibly skilled practitioners doing impactful work, but struggling to express its value in a way that matched the depth of what they offered. ELEVATE was built to close that gap between what’s real in practice and what’s understood in the community.

Before launching ELEVATE, she also helped develop wellness-focused initiatives and collaborative programs aimed at improving how people experience and access care. That work reinforced a core belief that still drives everything today: wellness only works at scale when it’s communicated in a way people can actually connect with.

Through ELEVATE + COMPANY WELLNESS and the ELEVATE Wellness Podcast, she partners with wellness businesses to refine their message, strengthen how they’re perceived in their community, and build consistent, aligned visibility that doesn’t feel forced or performative.

At the center of her approach is a simple idea: when people clearly understand what you do, choosing you becomes easier.

A note from Rachel

“I don’t think wellness needs to be overcomplicated. Most of the time, the work is already powerful — it just isn’t being communicated in a way people can immediately understand. I’m here to help change that.”

Nicole Huckabee

Nicole is the co-host of the ELEVATE Wellness Podcast where she brings a lifelong background in storytelling into conversations centered around wellness, community, and human experience.

Before joining ELEVATE, she spent nearly 35 years in local television news, where she built a career around one core skill — telling stories that matter. From the anchor desk to field reporting, her work took her into the lives of people across the community and beyond, capturing everything from everyday moments to high-profile interviews across entertainment, sports, and culture.

Over the years, she also expanded her work into documentary-style storytelling, special features, and national media appearances, always returning to the same thread: a genuine curiosity about people and what shapes their lives. That curiosity has continued to guide her beyond traditional news, into more personal, long-form conversations.

Today, Nicole continues to grow her creative work through hosting and producing her own interview-based platform, while also pursuing acting and commercial roles across film and digital media. In 2025, she expanded further into the talent and entertainment space in New York City, earning industry recognition and representation along the way.

But titles and accomplishments aren’t what define her approach here.

What stands out most is how she shows up in conversation — grounded, present, and genuinely interested in people’s stories. That’s what made ELEVATE a natural fit.

The podcast became another space to do what she’s always done best: listen deeply, ask better questions, and help people feel seen in their own story.

At ELEVATE, Nicole focuses on bringing warmth and relatability into conversations with wellness professionals across the Grand Strand and beyond, helping translate their expertise into stories the community can actually connect with.

From Nicole

“I’ve always been drawn to people’s stories — the real ones underneath everything else. Whether it’s news, film, or conversation, I care about helping people feel heard and understood. That’s what I bring to ELEVATE.”

Jessica Shrader

Jessica Shrader is part of the post-production and social media team behind the ELEVATE Wellness Podcast, where she helps shape how conversations are refined, shared, and experienced beyond the recording itself.

Her role sits at the intersection of storytelling and strategy. She supports the backend flow of content execution while also ensuring the podcast translates well across platforms — so each episode doesn’t just live in audio form, but reaches the audience in a clear, intentional, and visually aligned way.

In the editing room, she brings a sharp attention to detail, focusing on pacing, clarity, and the subtle elements that elevate a conversation from raw recording to a finished listening experience. On the social side, she helps extend those stories outward, supporting how ELEVATE shows up consistently across digital spaces.

Outside of her work with ELEVATE, Jessica is also an artist, working primarily in watercolor. That creative practice shows up in her professional work as well — in her sense of composition, patience, and ability to notice small details that shift the feel of the final product.

What makes her role distinct is the balance she brings between structure and creativity: keeping systems organized while still honoring the human side of storytelling.

From Jessica

“I love when conversations feel real — and I love helping shape them in a way that still feels like themselves, just clearer and more connected. Also, coffee klatch episodes are my favorite kind of chaos in the best way.”
